Located in the heart of the city, on 4 Schwertgasse, just a few minutes’ walk from Stephansplatz, the “gallery twenty-six” is only a 20 minutes‘ car ride from Vienna International Airport and very easily accessible by means of public transport.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
If you choose to take the subway, there are several possibilities to get to the gallery:
UNDERGROUND
- U4 (green line)
get off at “Schottenring”. It’s just a few minutes’ walk (approx. 500m) to the “gallery twenty-six”. Alternatively, you can take the 1A bus and get off at “Schwertgasse”. - U2 (purple line)
get off at the station “Schottentor”, from where it’s just a few minutes’ walk to the “gallery twenty-six” (approx. 750m). - U3 (orange line)
get off at the station “Herrengasse”, from where it’s just a few minutes’ walk to the “gallery twenty-six” (approx. 500m). - U1 (red line)
get off at “Schwedenplatz”, from where it‘s just a few minutes’ walk to the “gallery twenty-six” (approx. 750m).
Take the D-line and get off at “Börse”, from where it’s just a few minutes’ walk to the “gallery twenty-six” (approx. 500m).
BUS
Take the 40A bus and get off at “Börse”, from where it’s just a few minutes’ walk to the “gallery twenty-six” (approx. 500m).
Take the 1A or 3A bus to get off at “Schwertgasse”, from where it’s a one minutes walk to our gallery.
CAR
Coming from Vienna International Airport
Take the motorway A4, and then, after taking he exit ramp called “Zentrum”, please take Schüttelstraße/B227 and follow it for
2,8 km, when you have to turn left onto Salztorbrücke; after that please go straight ahead for 270 m, then take the second exit (Marc-Aurel-Straße) out of the roundabout; after 100m please turn right onto Wipplingerstraße and then, after 230m turn right once again, onto Schwertgasse.
Coming from Ringstraße
Please follow Ringstraße to its section called Schottenring, which you have to follow for 350m, then keep going straight ahead, using Franz-Josefs-Kai, for 500m; after that, please turn right onto Salztorgasse and go straight-ahead for 270 m, then take the second exit (Marc-Aurel-Straße) out of the roundabout; after 100m please turn right onto Wipplingerstraße and then, after 230m turn right once again, onto Schwertgasse.
Due to the chronic shortage of suitable parking space on Schwertgasse and the fact that Vienna‘s first district in its entirety is a short-term parking zone, it‘s highly advisable to use one of the parking garages in the area!
There are three parking garages which are located in close proximity to the “gallery twenty-six”:
- “CAPRICORNO”, which is located on Schwedenplatz 3–4
- “CONTIPARK Parkhaus am Kai” parking garage, on 2–4 Gonzagagasse
- “WIPARK Parkgarage Gonzagagasse” on 21 Gonzagagasse.
