After the “gallery twenty-six” dedicated a large solo exhibition to the Czech artist Jaroslav Valečka in the centre of Vienna from 25 May to 18 June, we would now like to invite you to the opening of our summer exhibition in the small South Moravian town of Znojmo, 75 km northwest of Vienna.
The exhibition “Zwischen Welten II – worlds in between II” sees itself as a transnational continuation and expansion of the Vienna show and will present around 20 works by Valečka not shown in Vienna, which the artist will personally explain in terms of motif and theme.
The venue of the exhibition is the charming Znojmo Town House No. 445, which houses the newly established Ebner-Eschenbach Gallery (residence of the writer 1851–1851).
